HOW BIG IS ONE GIG?
No one knows. But what we do know is that Australians are more afraid of using their mobile data than they are of sharks.

We got the numbers-guys over at Virgin Mobile to do the math——and it turns out 1 gig of data = 21 hours of music. A fair bit of listening. And when Virgin teamed with streaming service Guvera, it seemed only fair to give these data-fraid subscribers 1 gig of free data per month——to listen to music data-free.
To announce the offer to petrified Aussies, we created ONE B1G GIG: a 21 hour music track delighting in the wackiness of our country’s place names. And who better to create this almost-day-long ditty than the delightfully wacky Reggie Watts. The campaign’s done now. Sadly, you'll never get to hear it.
If you know Reggie, you’ll know of his penchant for interesting pullovers. He likes ’em odd, so we used his as a billboard of sorts. Subtle at first, we quickly graduated to full souvenir-of-Australia-style sweaters.
